The Vanguard Coalition is an organization built by 74 nations to address the dangers brought by mythical beasts. The coalition establishes towers, called "Mockers", all over the world to monitor mythical beasts activities. These towers also act as research laboratories and bases for operation. It is heavily guarded by its army composed of regular soldiers and some high-profile linkers.
The coalition yearly held its recruitment exam in their central headquarters. The exam is designed as an entertainment program broadcasted around the world. This is to gain sponsor money as well as attract high-profile linkers.
Not all mythical beasts though cause danger to humanity. Some of them actually bring more benefits. Benefits that if not regulated, could be misused by some. So the coalition also acts as a regulatory body to regulate these benefits.
